Rodney's journey began at Job Corps in Clearfield, Utah, where he completed his foundational education. He pursued higher education in business at Weber State University, also in Utah, laying the groundwork for his diverse career.

Early Career and Service: Rodney’s career trajectory took him from the classrooms of Weber State to the bustling corridors of Bear Stearns, Inc. on Wall Street, New York, where he served in various capacities. Seeking broader horizons, Rodney enlisted in the Navy, specializing in communications and benefiting from the global exposure and discipline that military service offers. His commitment to service continued with an Honorable Discharge after six years.

Continued Education and Community Engagement: Upon returning to civilian life, Rodney furthered his studies at the College of Staten Island, NY, Northampton Community College, PA, and Kaplan University online. His roles ranged from Project Coordinator at Urban Development Corporation in New York City to Facilities Management at the New York Public Library. These positions deepened his understanding of corporate and community dynamics.

Event Planning and Promotion: Rodney's flair for event planning and show promotion came to fruition as he orchestrated several community events, notably the Multi-Cultural Performing Arts Event in Staten Island, NY. His involvement with the Universal Temple of the Arts (UTA) enriched his experience in promoting entrepreneurship and community economics through the arts.

Non-Profit Leadership and Impact: As a center manager for Project Enterprise, Rodney played a pivotal role in micro to small business development, assisting over 100 small businesses to launch successfully. His tenure as an operations manager at Planet Aid saw him manage and significantly grow the budget for operations across New York City, Long Island, Westchester Counties, and Southern Connecticut.

Environmental and Community Contributions: Through his initiative, Another Just Cause (AJC), Rodney addressed ecological concerns by minimizing textile waste in New York City, aiding urban sustainability efforts.

The Business Cafe Lounge (BCL): Today, Rodney continues to inspire and support aspiring entrepreneurs through his latest venture, The Business Cafe Lounge. The BCL is more than just a business hub; it's a community platform designed to foster self-sufficiency and nurture entrepreneurial spirit.
